BNI Fees: An annual membership to BNI is less than a dollar a day. It costs less than one business suit, and is nowhere near the cost of one very small advertisement in the local paper. BNI memberships are available in one or two year terms, for businesses or individuals.* A one-time membership application fee is applied upon your acceptance into a chapter. Where Does the Money Go? Other than the 52 meetings a year, what do you get and how does BNI support the people it serves? The fees collected by BNI are distributed approximately as follows: Marketing: This includes such costs as the international website, brochures & invitation cards, visitor information sheets, visitor packets, news article reprints, trade shows, first class mail & postage, periodic press releases and public relations support. Chapter Support: Chapter support includes orientation audio CDs for new members, vinyl card holders received upon BNI induction, badges, unlimited referral slips, leadership team manuals/training materials, membership applications, free workshops, awards, certificates, pins, production of the quarterly newsletter SuccessNet, and headquarters' support. *A member's individual BNI membership can be retained if they move to another city and choose to join another chapter, or would like to stay within the chapter and apply for re-classification. Business memberships may be transferred to another member of the business if the original representative of the company moves to another location.
